Boxing news can be hard to find

I just wanted to start by saying that for all my boxing posts I have to search for information, well this time I will not since I already have it. Whether posting on Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and his amazing fights this year that seems to be making headlines left and right, to his scandalous dealings with promoters, or talking about Sylvest Stallone finally getting around to making the next Rocky movie.

First off I think it may be too late for Stallone who is ageing rapidly and much like Hulk Hogan should not be doing anohter movie, but since everyone has been waiting for it, then he should go ahead.

The only thing I can think of is Holyfield with his bitten ear still fighting at 44 years old when he should have stopped 7 years ago while he was ahead. So with that in mind I can just immagine the main bout in the Rocky Movie featuring Rocky Balboa versus Evander Holyfield but in this fight they both manage a TKO. At their ages they might as well smoke crack it will damage whats left of their brain which if I am not mistaken the last Rocky left Balboa with some pretty bad brain damage I just hope that the grips in charge remind Stallone of this fact. And while they are at it remind Holyfield that it is fake fighting that he should not really hit Stallone in the scene, since by the time the film would be in production both Stallone and Holyfield would be sufferring from dimensia due to the onslaught of alzheimer’s disease.

But that is just my thoughts and Holyfield will not be the opponent and Mr. T is too old to do a comeback, just look at him in the latest A-Team comback special.

I must just have a sick twisted sense of humor.

Which reminds me, now that I was talking about Holyfield’s missing ear, is what is up with Mike Tyson? First off the squeaky voice always gets me laughing. But he does have some issues of his own and should be kicked out of boxing not because of the ear issue but because of insanity.

So lets list the reasons:

1) HE BIT EVANDER HOLYFIELD’S EAR OFF IN A FIGHT !!! (but he has since been allowed back to fight again)

2) What is up with his tattoo? I have nothing against tattoos but the whole concept does not say to me stay back because I am a big bad fighter. It says to me stay back because I am extremely crazy.

3) A year or so ago while in Phoenix Arizona I remember when a car failed to stop for Tyson so he leaped onto the hood of the car and did a Mexican Hat Dance number completely damaging the car.

I know there are more reasons but I don’t have time to finish them here, but it does make my point of the possibility of an insanity plea.

So needless to say there is way too much information out there on boxing and not alot is good or it is old news, but what is really fun is to cross reference old and new news to make an entirely unique post. Which is helpful to me since I have 8 other blogs to post on.
