Prince Naseem lethal in the ring and the road

Former world boxing champion “Prince” Naseem Hamed was being released early from jail after serving just 16 weeks of a 15-month sentence for dangerous driving.
Hamed seriously injured a 38-year-old man in a high-speed head-on collision near a blind dip in the road in his £320,000 Mercedes McLaren in May last year.
Hamed, wearing a black leather jacket, was seen chatting and smiling with his brothers shortly before his release. A silver Rolls-Royce and a stretch Hummer limousine, with blacked-out windows, waited for the sportsman outside Moorland open prison in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Last week Anthony Burgin, who suffered fractures to every major bone in his body in the crash, said he was very upset and shocked that Hamed was being released early.
Hamed will wear an electronic tag under the Home Office’s Home Detention Curfew (HDC) scheme.
I saw him fight a couple of times and I was amazed - so fast and so hard - he really played with any opponent. Sort of copied Ali in being so cocky and he also had a talent with words which he did match in the ring.
Its a shame so many top boxers get into police hands but I suppose when you are male, rich, famous, arrogant and like to fight your a trouble magnet.
Still when you saw him fight the WOW factor was amazing but I have not heard much about him for a long time and I guess his mind has been on other things - like getting his time reduced! The power of being rich!

So he went to jail and got out early - many non celebs also get parole. I suppose if you are in high rollers and have connections it does make it easier.
